IYC Secretary General will attend the BRICS Students Spring Festival invited by Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) & Govt. of Russia

The III International festival “Student’s Spring of the Countries BRICS and The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation” in Stavropol

Mr. Farhan Ali Abro, Hon’ble Secretary General of International Youth Committee (IYC) who will be leaving today for the BRICS Festival 2019 to be held from 4 – 9 June at Stavoprol, Russia 🇷🇺sponsored by the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) & Government of Russia.

The governor Vladimir Vladimirovich Vladimirov held a working meeting on the preparation and holding of the III International Festival “Student Spring of the BRICS and SCO Countries” in the Stavropol Territory. The executive directorate of the festival will be located in Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The region received the right to host such an important and large-scale event after the successful holding of the Russian Student Spring festival last year.

The geography of the participants of the International Studs will not be limited to representatives of the BRICS countries only (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) – students from Austria and Georgia are expected to come to the festival as well.

According to the executive director of the festival, the chairman of the primary trade union organization of students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Nikolay Golovin, the event will be held in Stavropol from 4 to 9 June. More than 2 thousand people will become its participants.

As part of the preparation, the executive directorate of the festival has been created, the headquarters of which will be located in our university. In addition, one of the festival competitions will be held in the new building of the SSAU.

600 volunteers will be involved in the work of the headquarters. The Directorate of the Stavropol State Agrarian University already has 14 members.

Especially there were discussed issues at the meeting related to ensuring the safety of participants, guests and venues for the festival, as well as the issues of accommodation, food and transportation of participants.
